Meridwell Get in Touch

Cookie Policy

Last updated: 18 June 2025

Cookies are small text files that websites store in your browser when you visit them. They are widely used to make sites work correctly, to remember your choices, and to gather information about how pages are used. This policy explains which cookies Meridwell's website uses, why, and how you can control them.

1. Cookies We Use

Essential Cookies

Always active

These cookies are required for the site to function. They manage things like your cookie preference choice itself (stored in localStorage) and ensure the page loads correctly. You cannot disable essential cookies without affecting how the site works.

Examples: cookieConsent preference, session identifiers

Analytics Cookies

Optional

These help us understand which pages are visited and how visitors move through the site. The information is aggregated and anonymised — no individual is identified. We use this to improve the site over time.

Examples: Google Analytics page view data, session duration

Duration: up to 14 months

Marketing Cookies

Optional

If we run any advertising campaigns in future, marketing cookies would allow us to understand which channels brought visitors to the site. Currently, Meridwell does not run paid advertising, so these cookies are inactive.

Examples: ad platform identifiers (currently unused)

Preference Cookies

Optional

These remember settings you have chosen — such as language preference or display options — so you do not have to set them again on each visit.

Examples: display settings, language choice

Duration: up to 12 months

2. Third-Party Cookies

Where analytics cookies are accepted, data is processed by Google Analytics under a data processing agreement. Google may use this data subject to its own privacy terms. We do not use social media tracking cookies or advertising network cookies at this time.

3. Manage Your Cookie Preferences

You can adjust your preferences at any time using the controls below. Changes take effect immediately and are saved in your browser.
