Heard from the Families Who Have Used Meridwell
Their words — not ours. Families describe what they found useful, what surprised them, and what they would tell others considering the service.

Anchalee K.
Nonthaburi · Workshop participant
"We came to the workshop not entirely sure what to expect. My mother and I had been going around the same topic for months. The facilitator gave us both equal space — genuinely equal, not just in theory — and by the end we had a shared way of describing what we each needed. I still use the framework they gave us."

Bangkok Expat · Facilitation session
"The session was well-run and genuinely neutral — I say that as someone who was fairly sceptical at the outset. My wife and I needed someone to hold the process so we could both talk without it derailing. That is what we got. The pre-session call was useful too; it helped me think through what I actually wanted to raise."

Nonthaburi · Agreement Notes Support
"We had already agreed on the key points between ourselves but needed them written down clearly. Meridwell produced a document that was clean and readable and that both of us felt reflected exactly what we'd said. They were careful not to add anything or rephrase things in ways that shifted the meaning. That mattered a great deal to us."

Pak Kret · Workshop participant
"I appreciated how the session was framed as education rather than intervention. We were taught actual techniques. My partner and I have very different ways of communicating and the workshop gave us a shared set of terms to use when conversations get stuck. Small thing, but genuinely useful two months on."

Narumol P.
Mueang Nonthaburi · Facilitation session
"Our family had tried to have this conversation on our own several times. Having a neutral person in the room made the difference. The facilitator was calm and unobtrusive — you didn't feel managed. The scheduling was easy and the team responded to emails quickly. I'd use them again."

Greater Bangkok · Agreement Notes Support
"The notes document was exactly what we needed. Professional, well-structured, and free of any interpretation that wasn't in our original conversation. The review process gave both of us a chance to flag anything that wasn't quite right before it was finalised. Straightforward from start to finish."

Three Family Situations
The following outlines are based on the types of situations Meridwell has worked with. Names and identifying details have been changed.
A Thai–Australian couple with differing views on shared property arrangements
Both parties wanted to reach an understanding before engaging a property advisor. Each held a different picture of what had been agreed verbally in the past, and conversations had repeatedly stalled.
Two Balanced Facilitation Sessions were arranged, one week apart. The first surfaced the differing accounts and identified areas of genuine common ground. The second focused on working through the remaining points of divergence with an agreed agenda. The family then requested Agreement Notes for the points they had reached.
The couple arrived at a shared written record of their agreed starting position within three weeks. They reported that having separate pre-session calls was particularly useful — it meant neither person felt the session was set up in favour of the other.
"We were finally working from the same version of events."
An adult sibling group discussing care arrangements for an ageing parent
Three adult children living in different parts of Thailand needed to reach an agreement about practical support responsibilities. Previous conversations had become emotionally heated and one sibling had stopped communicating with the others.
Meridwell began with separate calls with each sibling, then an Understanding Together Workshop for all three. This allowed them to establish a shared communication framework before addressing the substantive questions. A facilitation session followed six days later focused on the practical arrangements.
All three siblings participated in both sessions. A set of Agreement Notes was produced covering the responsibilities each person had agreed to take on. All three reviewed and approved the document before it was finalised.
"For the first time in months we were in the same room and able to actually listen to each other."
A family wanting to record an existing understanding about a shared business
Two family members who operated a small business together had a clear verbal understanding but wanted it documented before bringing in a new partner. They did not need facilitation — they already agreed — but wanted a professional to structure the notes.
The Agreement Notes Support service was used directly, without any facilitation session. The family provided their own notes from a prior discussion. Meridwell's documentation specialist structured these into a clear personal record document, which was reviewed and approved by both parties.
The document was produced within four business days. One minor correction was requested in the review stage and incorporated before finalisation. Both parties felt confident using the document in subsequent conversations with their incoming business partner.
"Clear, accurate, and ready to use. Exactly what we asked for."
